MANCHESTER United have released a new grey third kit ahead of the upcoming 2017/18 Premier League season. United were in unstoppable form heading into the fixture at The Dell in April 1996, but a three-goal half-time deficit saw Sir Alex Ferguson insist on a swap to their blue and white second away strip. The kit provides an alternative to United's traditional red kit as well as their new black away strip that was released earlier in pre-season. The kit, which was designed by United fan Aniello Carotenuto, includes imagery of the statue of Sir Bobby Charlton, George Best and Denis Law outside Old Trafford - also known as the 'Holy Trinity'. Red Devils fan Aniello Carotenuto's design was chosen from a huge number of entries, with the club's 'Holy Trinity' statue depicted on the shirtManchester United have unveiled their new third kit for the 2017-18 season which is coloured silver and depicts legends of the club's past.
